I would stay here again as the location is convenient and I like the property overall.
The restaurant appeared under-staffed. I've stayed at this hotel several years ago and the food was very good. However, the meal this time was very limited and not very good.

Beautiful building, shame about the restaurant staff
Beautiful building. Good car park. Receptionists very nice. Large comfortable room. Excellent food in the restaurant. Nice pool if a bit small. What a shame that the staff in the restaurant are letting this hotel down with their very bad attitude.
Couldn't get a drink unless you went outside in 35 degree heat. Asked the guy in the restaurant if we could but he said, very abruptly "no!!". The waiter at dinner was not much better. Couldn't get the tasting menu or the wine we wanted. Don't think the restaurant staff are very happy at work. Rude and felt as if we shouldn't be there. Will not go back there - paradors around the same price and they have much happier employees.All the information said restaurant was open at 8.30 but it didn't open until 9. Aircon in the room not very easily controlled. Key cards didn't work so had to get a key from reception.

We like the Hotel, it lacks staff,Not really a 4star
amazing building very well looked after. The rooms are comfortable and clean. This was our third visit and the breakfasts have definitely improved. It is in a great location to the castle.
lack of information regarding its history. I don’t expect the staff to speak English as I don’t speak Spanish but it is advertised as a four star hotel and their was no printed information available at reception or around the hotel to explain its history. Their were some Americans staying and they too were commenting about the lack of any information available. The room was advertised with a mini bar but this was empty. They did offer room service but only at specific times and as far as. drinks go limited and expensive. It was not as your brochure advertised. We booked dinner for 9 pm but when we got to the restaurant it was in darkness. We had to call on the receptionist to find the waiter. We only had a main course which was very nice but quite expensive however the wine list is extensive and has some very nice wines. In the morning when we left we asked to purchase one of the “Roses” displayed in the dining room where breakfast is served. The receptionist could find no price! so that was that… I find it quite incredible that she made no attempt to find out the prices as we had bought one 3 yrs ago and wished to buy another. We didn’t try the spa so cannot comment.

unfortunately we wouldn’t return to this hotel
beautiful hotel and our room was lovely
the hotel was very cold, I needed to complain about the toilets not being clean!! the breakfast was very average, had to wait ages for drinks and food due to lack of staff!! we waited nearly an hour for anything to arrive at our evening meal! have to say the one girl who seemed to do everything was lovely
